Day 3: First stop on the road
Hey folks!!
Today we got started with trip. We rode about 4 hours. We had to pick up som panniers in Charleston and that delayed our departure.
However, the weather was nice in the ride was fun.
We are now in a camp site and I'm posting from my tent. =)

Ready, set, go!!
Our second day in Charleston was about buying stuff. Who is everywhere looking for the stuff that we needed in the phone the most everything. Tomorrow will start riding!
We got our bikes, bags, lights, kitchen stuff and a lot more.
Our next stop is in Walterboro, a small city about 60 miles from Charleston.
Now it's time to rest and get some sleep. See you tomorrow!!
Cheers,
Eduardo

Posts now also by phone!
Hey folks!
So I finally got a smartphone! Haha that means I'll be posting updates from anywhere and at anytime!! =)
Day 1 - Arrived in Charleston, SC
We arrived in Charleston!
It was a very long and tiresome trip, first flying to Orlando and then driving 7 more hours to Charleston, but we made it. The roads were perfect and our rental car is great too so that helped. Maybe I'm more tired because in total I have slept something around 6 hours in the past 72 hours (party with friends, preparing luggage, little sleep in the airplane, etc). But after a good night of sleep I'm recharged!
The first impression of Charleston was that this was a small, somewhat rural city. But that was just the entrance. The actual city is incredible! Downtown is very well taken care of, there is a great marina with several boats nearby. Also, many students and apparently healthy people on the streets, walking and jogging.
Here are a few shots:
Today we slept until 1:30pm, then went out to check out our bikes on the store and start purchasing the remaining items for the trip. We brought just two small backpacks each, and we have a long list of items to buy. We got most of what we needed, but tomorrow we have more shopping to do.
Time to rest now! =)
Cheers,
Eduardo
