So here we are...

...camping on a hidden spot of a barely used bike trail, on the street. Behind our tents is highway 1. Hopefully no one will come mess around with us.

We are planning to wake up just after sunrise and pack before people start passing here.

Camping in the wild

For the first time in this trip we did not find a place to stay. We're in Santa Cruz, CA right now and all hotels are way too expensive, RV parks do not accept tents and. campgrounds are full...

We had diner at a Subway, will use their restroom to brush teeth and make some hygiene and them will head to a desert bike trail close to the beach. There we will look for a hidden spot to set up our tents and hope no one will bother us before tomorrow morning.

Let's see what happens!

Lunch time!

We decided to get out of our routine and get some pizza for lunch!

Met some nice riders on the road

We met them at a gas station had a nice time chatting about bicycle touring. I saw for the first time electronic bicycle gear shifting, very high tech stuff!

We're now add a city called Castroville having some coffee and then we'll depart for Santa Cruz, CA!

In the Monterey Aquarium

As expected, one of the best of the  country!! We had a great time.

This is an amazing place, we're having a great time walking around and seeing all the stores in the pier!

We will soon had to the aquarium, but I'm not sure ww will be able to get in with all these bags...
