Plans for today

One more time no internet connection in the hotel... We're really late in posting the daily summaries, but we'll find a way to catch up!!

Today we'll go to Williams, AZ. That will be a 95 miles course. Williams is 65 miles from the Grand Canyon National Park. Since we wny to see the sunset at the Grand Canyon, we'll have to get there early. To get there early we need to sleep early tomorrow, which in turn means we need to leave the hotel early in order to finish the ride early.

Hopefully we'll have internet access tonight so we can post the material we have ready.

We're leaving early today. There is a big thunderstorm coming behind us so we want to cover some ground before it reach us.

Sleeping early...

...to wake up early!

In order to be on track we'll need to cover 85 miles tomorrow.

For that to happen we will need to get to Elk city (which is 28 miles away) by 12:30 pm, so we need to eat breakfast, close our bags and leave the hotel room by 8:30 am.

Therefore we need to wake up at 7:00 am. And since we need 9 hours of sleep we're going to bed at 10:00 pm.

Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day with no flat tires! =)

Ready to go explore Oklahoma City!

What a day!!

At 4:00am we finally arrived in the hotel. Due to the 5 flat tires today we spent 15 hours on the road to get to where we had planned. Still I think this was a nice day with a few things that will stay in my memory forever, such as crossing paths with a wolf. But I'll give all the details in the summaries as usual! =)

We wanted to post some new materials we got, but at this time all we can do is to go shower and sleep.

Tomorrow we'll get up at 10:00am and go see Oklahoma City on our way towards West.
