A nice moment

Arrived in Flagstaff, AZ!

This day was real hard and it took us much longer to get here than we forecasted. As a result we ended up changing our plans a little and will stay here tonight.

Right now I'm waiting my uncle make some purchases in Walmart and then we gonna look for a hotel. Hopefully this next hotel have internet so I can update the daily summaries. =)

We will also give more details on our change of plans and post an updated progress map.

The desert is tough today

We're having a hardcore ride on this hot and dry place. Right now we're at a gas station 15 miles before Flagstaff, AZ.

We eat a sandwich each and had some chocolate milk, now we're ready to return to the road.

It's a hot day

Today we're facing some high temperatures. We've pulled over into a rest area to recover.

There is a Subway restaurant about 5 miles from here, so we'll stop there and have lunch.

Plans for today

One more time no internet connection in the hotel... We're really late in posting the daily summaries, but we'll find a way to catch up!!

Today we'll go to Williams, AZ. That will be a 95 miles course. Williams is 65 miles from the Grand Canyon National Park. Since we wny to see the sunset at the Grand Canyon, we'll have to get there early. To get there early we need to sleep early tomorrow, which in turn means we need to leave the hotel early in order to finish the ride early.

Hopefully we'll have internet access tonight so we can post the material we have ready.

Arrived in Winslow!

This is a small city, but has a Walmart and a few hotels to choose from.

My uncle bought some food and we eat a sandwich in a local Subway.

We'll now look for a cheap hotel with WiFi so we can post some more daily summaries!

We'll also discuss our route for the next three days which will include camping at the Grand Canyon. As soon as we decide what to do I'll post it here!
